Well, I have actually jumped back in the past. For those that don't know, I had a GTI just like this for my very first car. I was given clearance from the tower to find one and restore it for a daily driver. I found one in pretty good shape, although you may disagree once you have seen the pictures. I plan to keep track of my project through here. Feel free to comment as I go. Here is a picture of the original in the background.

To see what I am shooting for
Just to give everyone an idea of what I am going for, here is the original GTI I had WAY back in the day! The scan didn't turn out all that well, so I'll update it when I get a chance. But for now, enjoy!!
